The Bancroft Neighborhood Association (BNA) serves the Bancroft neighborhood, which is bordered by Chicago Avenue on the west, 38th Street on the north, Cedar Avenue on the east, and 42nd Street on the south. BNA offers programs, events, and leads community-driven projects to meet it's mission and goals.
Our Mission
The Bancroft Neighborhood Association works to create and sustain an equitable and engaged neighborhood. To that end:
we foster a welcoming neighborhood with mutually supportive connections among all those who live, learn, work, and worship here.
we host and encourage inclusive and diverse community activities and events from the block to the neighborhood.
we promote the physical and mental well-being of the Bancroft community.
we strive for the adoption of socially and ecologically sustainable practices in Bancroft and the larger community.
we work to ensure that as Bancroft evolves it remains an affordable and livable neighborhood.
