The Bancroft Neighborhood needs volunteers to help coordinate a number of annual events. Primary events include the Ice Cream Socials and the Garage Sale.The success or failure of these events depends on the level of volunteer support received at the BNA. Please help us make sure that events such as these remain a vibrant part of our neighborhood for years to come! Your time, energy, enthusiasm and ideas are needed.

It's that time of year again, the BNA's Annual Meeting. Enjoy a free buffet dinner, provided by several of our excellent neighborhood restaurants and food stores.
The meeting will include an update on BNA's past accomplishments and future goals by BNA's Board President Chris Tripp. Also, updates on Nokomis Center, 38 th & Chicago, NRP Phase II programs and social events. 8th Ward Council Member Elizabeth Glidden will update us on the health of the 8th Ward and Bancroft Neighborhood and take questions. Last of all, we will have elections for 2007-08 BNA Board Members. Please call to reserve childcare during the meeting. This is where you come into the picture. We need dedicated individuals (neighborhood leaders) to help Bancroft Neighborhood remain a vibrant presence in the City of Minneapolis. Lots of exciting things are going on in Bancroft, be a part of it. Work on the Nokomis Center site, 38 th & Chicago, River Lake (40th St) Greenway and the Midsummer Festival. Also, there is youth and environment programs, crime & safety issues and finally the community gardens. Be an active participant in you neighborhood. BE A BNA BOARD MEMBER!
