Facade Improvement Grant Approval Committee
This grant, brought to you through a partnership with the Bancroft Neighborhood Association and the City of Minneapolis, provides funding for commercial businesses on specific nodes throughout the neighborhood. This committee reviews and approves applications on a first come first serve basis. If you have design or an eye for architecture please join us! Meets third Monday of the month at 6:30PM at Pillsbury House. Committed to implementing the small area plan for the node including commercial improvement, housing development and pedestrian planning. Click here for more information.
38th and Chicago Ave Business Association
This intersection is going through changes that are having an overall impact on the neighborhood. Facade Improvements, the Small Area Plan and increased interest in the commercial real estate of this area make this a very good meeting to attend. Meets first Wednesday of the month at 12PM, somewhere near the corner. Business owners in the node collaborate on projects, June Clean Up and BBQ, advertising and networking. West of the Rails Business Association
A new business association stretching from 15th Ave South to the Light Rail, from Minnehaha Pkwy to 35th Street. Based out of the Standish-Erickson office many of our businesses are within this association. Particular emphasis will be put on Nokomis Mall. Please contact SENA for more information.
